Established 1978.

A no-through traffic community in Calgary’s southeast, Deer Run is surrounded by natural beauty, with the Bow River to the east and Fish Creek Provincial Park borders the south. This community offers connectivity to the rest of the city via Bow Bottom Trail and Deerfoot Trail, making it a convenient yet peaceful place in the city to call home.

Though Deer Run was annexed by the City of Calgary in 1961, its development didn’t begin until 1978. Outdoor enthusiasts and families will love the area’s recreational options, including access to Calgary’s only public manmade lake, Lake Sikome, as well as its abundance of green spaces and rolling hills.

Let Deer Run inspire your next move!
